MWCC MIDWEEK CRIT: 2022 RECOVERY & REBUILD EDITION

The MWCC Midweek Crit returns to Tahoe & Buckhorn. It is an Ontario Cycling sanctioned Weekly  Series. All participants must have a valid Provincial Race License or UCI Road License. No One-Day  Permits. If you’re new to bike racing join Midweek Cycling Club and come to Monday Learn-to-Race  from May to July. Thank you to all the marshals and corner guards who keep the riders safe.

Due to the ongoing nature of the global pandemic, public health guidelines are subject to change. Always adhere to all measures per the province of Ontario, region of Peel, and city of Mississauga. Evidence shows that the vaccines used in Canada are very effective at preventing severe illness, hospitalization and death from COVID-19. If you’re feeling sick stay home.

No same day registrations. Series registration available on CCN. Please read carefully.

Midweek Cycling Club (MWCC) is an athletes for life bike racing programme in Toronto and Mississauga.  Powered by volunteers; fueled by passion. If you're new to bike racing or looking to grow and build a  broader cycling community in the GTA, MWCC might be the club for you.

Before we get started, five essential rules of the MWCC Midweek Crit:

  1. Never cross the yellow line (no excuses)

  2. Never warm up in the opposite lane of traffic (and keep all lanes clear)

  3. Always use the dedicated washroom facilities, (ie. don’t pee in the bushes)

  4. Only park in designated areas (or better yet ride to the race)

  5. Have fun

Breaking any of these rules will lead to DQ and possible banning from the race. (Yes, if you’re not having  fun you could be banned. Positive vibes only.) Please don’t use Tahoe/Buckhorn as your personal or  team training loop outside of MWCC sanctioned activities. Our permits require keeping our neighbours  happy.
